Isuzu FA Vase Second Round Draw

The FA have today released the draw details for the Second Round of the 2025/26 Isuzu FA Vase.
14 of our member Clubs progressed through to this round of the competition on Saturday, with Atherton LR and West Didsbury & Chorlton now entering the competition after being exempt to this round due to success in last seasons competition.
We are guaranteed three sides in the Third Round due to all-NWCFL ties in the Second Round. Its an all Premier Division affair as Prestwich Heys host Irlam, whilst its Premier v North in the other two. High flying Burscough will entertain Ashton Town, with Charnock Richard welcoming Nelson.
After playing a NWCFL side for the first time on Saturday, Northern League side Yarm & Eaglescliffe welcome another as Fulwood Amateur travel up to Billingham. Another Northern League side North Shields, who beat Glossop North End in the Final in 2014/15, will travel to Cheadle Town. are groundsharing with Northern League side Billingham Town. Ramsbottom United will travel up to County Durham to face Crook Town, with Chadderton travelling up to Redcar Town who currently top the Northern League Second Division.
The Northern Counties East League once again dominates opponents. Atherton LR travel to current NCEL leaders Liversedge with Holker Old Boys travelling to Albion Sports. West Didsbury & Chorlton will fancy their chances at Brigg Town who play a step below them in the pyramid. South Liverpool host a NCEL side with Barton Town making the long trip from Hull.
The Midland League make up the other two opponents, with both of them former NWCFL clubs. Droylsden host Northwich Victoria in a game that was taking place in the National League as recently as 2008, with Barnoldswick Town hosting our reigning First Division South Champions Winsford United.
