PREMIER DIVISION .
We have a new leader in the Premier Division with Nelson moving to top spot after a 5-2 win over Abbey Hey. Max Cane hit a first half hat-trick to help put them 4-0 ahead at the break, and they increased this lead in the second half before Abbey grabbed two late consolation goals.
Previous leaders Burscough twice led at Barnoldswick Town, but the home side turned things around with Kuda Chingwaro hitting what proved the winner with 18 minutes remaining. That was their first win in seven games. They are now in joint second, one of four teams now on ten points, two points behind Nelson.
Droylsden are fourth after a 3-0 away win at Euxton Villa, with Jordan Barnett scoring twice for the Bloods. And Chadderton are fourth after a 1-0 victory over South Liverpool, Matthew Barlow with the only goal of the game.
The final team on ten points are Glossop North End who have climbed up after a 3-0 win over Atherton LR, the visitors coming into the match on the back of a three game unbeaten run.
The biggest win of the day came for FC St Helens who won away at Longridge Town. Luke Byron and Tom Lawless both scored twice for the Stripes, who won 5-0 away from home for the first time since joining the league.
Ramsbottom United beatr AFC Liverpool 4-1, with Gareth Hill scoring the first and last goals for them. Irlam won 2-1 at Litherland REMYCA to record their first win of the season, with Trafford beating FC Isle of Man 1-0.
The final game saw Prestwich Heys and Charnock Richard draw 1-1.
FIRST DIVISION NORTH
Maghull remain top of the First Division North after a 5-1 win over Maine Road. It was 1-1 until just after the hour there, with Nathan Moffitt and Connor Rankin both scoring twice to make it seven wins on the trot for Maghull.
Cammell Laird 1907 are up to second after a 2-1 win at Ashton Athletic. The home side led until 20 minutes from time, with a brace from Ben Wood giving Lairds all three points.
Thornton Cleveleys slip to third after a 2-2 draw at home to Bacup Borough. It could have been worse with Bacup leading 2-0 with just over ten minutes to go, with a quickfire double rescuing a point for Thornton.
Holker are up to fourth after a 4-2 win over Daisy Hill, with Jamie Hodgson scoring twice for the Cumbrian side. And Halewood Apollo are fifth after losing 2-1 at AFC Blackpool, Alfie Cox with both goals there to end a run of eight games without a win for Blackpool.
Flixton ran out 4-2 winners at Ashville, with Aaron Dwyer scoring twice for them in that game. And Ashton Town ran out 3-1 winners away at Steeton.
Colne were denied a win at Gastang, with the home side scoring in stoppage time to force a 1-1 draw. Fulwood Amateurs also rescued a point in stoppage time with a 3-3 draw at home to Darwen.
The final game also finished 3-3, with nothing to separate Woolton and Squires Gate.
FIRST DIVISION SOUTH
AFC Bridgnorth remain top in the First Division South after twice coming from behind to beat New Mills 3-2. The winning goal came from David Anani with just three minutes to go to complete a fine turnaround.
They are a point clear of three clubs, one of whom is Sandbach United who beat Widnes Town 6-0. There were three goals in each half there, with Kyle Foley grabbing a brace.
Eccleshall are third after a 1-0 win at Cheadle Heath Nomads, with Wolverhampton Casuals fourth after a 2-0 win over Alsager Town.
Making up the top five is Stafford Town, who missed the chance to go joint top after a 3-1 loss at Bilston Town.
Thomas Stanton found the net twice for Barnton as they swept aside Wednesfield Community 4-0, with Dawley Town winning 2-0 away at Shawbury United.
Crewe won for only the second time this season after a 2-1 win at home to Telford Town, with Foley Meir winning by the same scoreline as they beat Brereton Social at home.
Market Drayton Town were the other winners as they won 2-1 at Allscott Heath.
