First Division North side Route One Rovers have been removed from this seasons Isuzu FA Vase.
The club were charged by the FA for for an alleged breach of FA Vase Rule 15(h)(i) in relation to allegedly playing two ineligible players in their win at Northallerton Town.
The FA Members, having deliberated on the matter, unanimously ordered that the Club be removed from this seasons Competition and that Northallerton Town be awarded the tie and progress to the Second Round Qualifying.
Northallerton Town shall now play at home to Bedlington Terriers in the Second Round Qualifying with this match to be played on Saturday 21 September 2024. This is subject to any appeal lodged by Route One Rovers.
Subsequently it was ordered that the prize fund payment for the winning Club from the First Round Qualifying (£550) be awarded to Northallerton Town, as the Club progressing through the round, and the losers fee for that round (£160) shall be withheld by The FA.
