Squires Gate Football Club is thrilled to announce a new club partnership, which will see national ticketing company Skiddle become the club’s primary Stadium Sponsor and Event Partner.
Now named The Skiddle Community Stadium, the club’s facilities at School Road have taken a huge upturn over the summer months, which saw spectators and players alike extremely impressed at Saturday’s pre-season opener against Chorley.
Alongside the stadium name, Skiddle will be the club’s new Event Partner. This will see match tickets for Squires Gate available to purchase online via the Skiddle Website or App.
As part of this, the club are also looking ahead to hosting a variety of new and exciting events at The Skiddle Community Stadium alongside their new partners.
On the new partnership, Manager Luke Evans said: “We are delighted to welcome Skiddle to the Squires Gate family.
“We are so proud of all of our partners and sponsors at Gate. With Skiddle, we are really getting a global company at the top of their game who match our values about what it is all about.
“I’m excited by what we can do together in the coming years and the impact that this has shows that this football club is going in the right direction.
“Thank you to everyone at Skiddle so far for your support and we looking forward to a fun and long standing relationship.
“This is really exciting times for us as a club and we encourage anyone else who wants to get involved to get in touch.”
Richard Dyer, Co-Founder of Skiddle: “We’re thrilled to be supporting Squires Gate FC and helping to put a spotlight on grassroots football in Blackpool.
“The Skiddle Community Stadium isn’t just a name — it reflects everything we believe in: community spirit, local pride, and bringing people together through shared experiences.
“We can’t wait to see what the future holds, both on and off the pitch.”
The Skiddle Community Stadium hosts Squires Gate vs Pilkington tomorrow night (2nd July), before welcoming a Blackpool FC XI on Saturday afternoon (5th July).
