Daisy Hill FC can announce that social media content creator Angry Ginge will be the club’s new stadium sponsor.

The deal will see Daisy’s home ground at New Sirs named The Ginge Power Stadium for the coming season.

Angry Ginge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, is a popular internet personality, who gained fame through filming gaming content, involving exuberant outbursts and reactions. Despite his moniker, the Salford native has largely garnered notoriety for his relatability and the humour behind his frustrations, and is also known for taking part in charitable fund-raising events.

A keen footballer, he recently appeared as a player for the England team in the 2025 Soccer Aid game for UNICEF, played at Old Trafford in June, which was televised live on ITV. He also runs his own team Winton United, and through his friendship with Daisy Hill Chairman Aaron Hunt, the club hosted two of Winton United’s games towards the end of last season.
Aaron Hunt said: ““As Chairman of Daisy Hill Football Club, I’m absolutely delighted to announce that our stadium will now be known as the Ginge Power Stadium, thanks to the generous sponsorship of my good friend, Angry Ginge.

“His passion for grassroots football and unwavering support for the club means the world to us.

“This partnership marks an exciting new chapter in our history, and I couldn’t be prouder to see the ground carry a name that represents both energy and commitment to the local community.

“On behalf of everyone at Daisy Hill, thank you, Ginge – here’s to a bright future at the Ginge Power Stadium!”

Daisy Hill Manager Lee Hill added: “We’re absolutely delighted to have Morgan (Angry Ginge) on board with us as the new stadium sponsor.

“Obviously he’s mates with Aaron, but he came down a few times last season and I genuinely think he's found a bit of a soft spot for the club.

“We approached him about helping us out after all the financial trouble the club’s had recently and the future uncertainty of whether we were going to be able to carry on again this season, and he said he'd try and help us.

“He's become really successful recently with what he’s doing, and he's not really going to benefit financially out of naming the stadium.

“We fully understand he's just done it to help a struggling non-league club out and that’s a big testament to the kind of person he is”.

Daisy’s first game in the newly named ground is this coming Wednesday 8th July, when Radcliffe visit in a pre-season friendly, kick off 7.45 pm.
