League Milestones and Statistics: Saturday, April 18th, 2026

 

Overall Stats:

  • AFC Liverpool’s third goal in their 4-1 win against Pilkington was their 1,400th league goal and their 750th at home.
  • Barnoldswick Town’s final goal in the 3-1 win against FC Isle of Man was their 1,150th.
  • Colne conceded their 1,600th NWCFL goal in the 4-4 draw at Fulwood Amateurs, whilst the home team conceded their 50th in their first season.
  • Irlam conceded their 1,050th goal in the 2-2 with Charnock Richard.
  • Longridge have now conceded 550 goals after their defat at Wythenshawe.
  • New Mills victory against Telford Town was their 600th game.
  • Sandbach United’s second goal in their 2-0 win against Ashville took them to 700 league goals.     

 

Home Stats:

  • Atherton LR drew their 150th home game from 766 total with the 0-0 against Ramsbottom United.

 

Away Stats:

  • Cheadle Town’s opening goal in their 2-1 midweek win at West Didsbury & Chorlton was their 1,200th on the road.
  • Maghull’s midweek win at Daisy Hill saw them concede their 500th away goal.
  • West Didsbury & Chorlton’s opening goal in the win at Euxton Villa was their 500th away from The Step Places Stadium.

 

Goal Heroes:

  • Just the one - Aaron Dwyer with another three for Wythenshawe – his fourth of the season – as they overcame Longridge Town on Saturday.

 

General Stats:

  • Ramsbottom United had gone 71 games without a 0-0 before Saturday’s draw at Atherton LR.
  • Stockport Georgians had gone 33 games without a 0-0 – a streak broken at Barnton on Saturday.
  • FC Isle of Man’s last 4-2 defeat was in an FA Vase game at Billingham Synthonia in October 2020: a run of 251 games.
  • Eccleshall would have to go back to August 2019 for their last 4-1 win - Abbey Hey were their opponents that day.
  • Colne’s 4-4 at Fulwood Amateurs was the first time they have played out that scoreline.
  • Bryan Ly: an NWCFL triple Champion! Bryan has now won three successive Premier Division titles. Firstly, at Wythenshawe in 2024; then he moved to Bury as they won the league in 2025; and now, back at Wythenshawe, he has achieved the hat-trick of title medals.

 

Managers Records:

  • Liam Kelly reached 200 games in charge of Eccleshall with the 2-0 win at Telford Town. Liam was appointed in September 2021 – his record during his stint reads as 81 wins, 47 draws and 72 defeats.
