League Milestones and Statistics: Saturday 4^th October 2025

Overall Stats:

• Abbey Hey’s defeat at home to Euxton Villa was their 1050^th NWCFL game, having joined the league in 1998.
• Eccleshall’s victory against Telford Town was their 250^th success. The only goal of the game was also their 1100^th in the league.
• West Didsbury and Chorlton reached 500 league games with the midweek win against AFC Liverpool, they also conceded their 850^th goal.
• Eccleshall’s goal in their 1-0 win against Telford Town was their 1,100^th.

Home Stats:

• West Didsbury & Chorlton reached 250 home games with Saturday’s win against Longridge Town.
• Wolverhampton Sporting Community conceded their 50^th home goal in the defeat to Alsager Town.

Away Stats:

• Alsager Town scored their 700^th away goal in the win at Wolves Sporting.
• Ramsbottom Utd’s midweek defeat at Irlam was their 400^th away game and 150^th defeat on the road.
• Sandbach Utd suffered their 50^th away defeat in going down at Stockport Georgians.

Goal Heroes:

• Daniel Guiver with three for Alsager Town at Wolves Sporting.
• Joshua Abbott with three of Darwen’s five in their win against Maghull.

General Stats:

• Alsager Town last recorded a 6-0 away victory back in October 2005, 405 games on the road. They beat Stone Dominoes that day.
• Barnton won 3-0 away for the first time since August 2019, that day it was Ellesmere Rangers that they beat.
• Stockport Georgians’ 4-0 home win was the first time since joining the league that they have won by this scoreline.
• Glossop suffered their first 0-3 home defeat, in the NWCFL since October 2013, Stockport Sports being the opponents that day.
• The total attendance for all the league games played this season is currently 54,670, at an average of 175.

Managers:

• Kevin Watkin and Dave Round at Holker Old Boys are two games short of 250 in charge.
